Theme Nights

25 Restaurant hosts a number of fantastic theme evenings throughout the year, giving you an opportunity to sample culinary delights from across the globe, prepared by our talented trainees.

The evenings are created and developed by the students and form an important part of their coursework, giving trainees the valuable experience they need to develop their skills and confidence as they prepare and serve food to commercial customers.

Around the World Night

Thursday 25 April 2019. Arrival from 6.00pm onwards, food available between 6.00pm and 7.00pm

An evening of tasty Around the World cuisine, with a buffet style service. 

Asian Light Bites

BBQ pork buns - Fluffy Asian buns stuffed with BBQ port belly, katsu apple served with coriander and spring onions

Thai fishcakes - Golden crisp Thai fishcakes served with cucumber and a squeeze of lime

Vegan Lettuce wrap - fresh romaine lettuce topped with an assortment of seasonal veg

Spanish Delights

Chicken and chorizo paella - Hearty chicken, chorizo and rice dish filled with Mediterranean veg

Patatas Bravas & Skillet Chicken - Golden cubes of pan fried potatoes with skillet chicken and roasted vegetables

Tumbet - Succulent Majorcan oven baked aubergines and bell pepper pie topped with sliced potatoes

Sweet Treat

Churros - Our favourite Mexican doughnuts with thick caramel sauce, cinnamon sugar and melted white chocolate

Support for the restaurant is a critical factor in the success of our students and a realistic work environment for our trainees is vital for assessment purposes.
