Hospitality students are on the top table

Friday 7 November 2014

Bedford College hospitality students are on the top table when it comes to catering, cooking and cake-making skills.

Such are the talents of the team that they have been selected as one of only ten colleges in the UK to exhibit at the NEC this week (November 5th).

As well as winning national and international awards, students have the chance to work at some of the best restaurants in the UK such as Royal Horseguards Hotel, London; Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, Oxford; Luton Hoo; Paris House, Woburn; St Helena’s, Elstow; Bedford Swan Hotel and d’Parys, Bedford. Some 50 students undertook real-life catering challenges with the top chefs in the UK.

At the annual “Caties” awards at the Howard Room, St Paul’s Square, Assistant Director Hospitality and Catering Mark Lewis welcomed family, friends and sponsors to join the celebrations.
